Best Budz is the family-owned recreational dispensary at 242 John Wise Ave (Route 133) in Essex. We grow our own cannabis upstairs and sell it downstairs, so a lot of what's on our shelves was grown in the same building you're standing in.

Anything on our menu marked with the Best Budz badge was cultivated upstairs, cured and packaged on site. We also carry a rotating selection from other licensed Massachusetts growers and makers. Every batch is tested by a licensed Massachusetts lab before it reaches the shelf.

A family shop
Best Budz is run by a husband and wife who grew up spending summers on Cape Ann. The people behind the counter are the same people who tend the plants upstairs, so ask us anything. And take in the view while you're here: the window behind the counter looks out over the Essex marsh.
Before you come
- Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. You must be 21 or older.
- We take cash and debit. Credit cards aren't accepted at Massachusetts dispensaries.
- Skip the wait by ordering ahead for pickup.

Monday to Saturday 10am to 8pm, Sunday 10am to 6pm.
