Best Budz is a family-owned recreational dispensary at 242 John Wise Ave (Route 133) in Essex, between Ipswich and Gloucester. We grow our own cannabis upstairs and sell it downstairs, and the window behind the counter looks out over the Essex marsh.

• Sunday: 10am to 6pm

Getting here

• From Route 128: take the Route 133 exit in Gloucester and head west into Essex.
• From Route 1: in Rowley, take Route 133 east through Ipswich into Essex.
• From Hamilton, Wenham or Beverly: see directions from Hamilton, Wenham and Beverly.

What to bring

• A valid government-issued photo ID showing you're 21 or older (driver's license, state ID or passport). We check every visit.
• Cash or debit. Credit cards aren't accepted at Massachusetts dispensaries.
• No appointment needed. Walk in any time we're open, or order online and pick up in store.
